Ainava ir neatņemama kino sastāvdaļa, un kino pētnieka un režisora Jāņa Putniņa izveidotā programma būs mēģinājums paskatīties uz ainavu kinomākslā kā iespēju pieskarties pārlaicīgajam.
Tās semantiskā nozīme gan piedzīvojusi nopietnas izmaiņas.
